time for data acquisition from device to PC

Hi,

I havea customer who wants to know the time in ms or mics from the measurement device to a PC when using one of the cables:

1) GPIB

2) USB

3) TCP/IP

The measurement devices data acquisition time is known (Rohde&Schwarz SMJ and FSP), the software is still open.

Where do I look it up?

There's a great article on latency and bandwidth of the various busses. If the manufacturer does not provide this sort of information in it's specs, then the only realistic way to determine which is the fastest is get an instrument with all three types of connections and actually measure it.
