timezone & time axis labels

How come LabView draws time axis differently depending on the time zone?

For instance, when I create a graph from 12 am, Oct. 24 to 12 am, Oct. 25.
the x-axis looks like this for GMT+0:
___________________________________________________________
12am 3am 6am 9am 12pm 3pm 6pm 9pm
12am

but like that for GMT-5 (Eastern time):
___________________________________________________________
12am 5am 8am 11am 2pm 5pm 8pm
12am

The problem is more obvious for two consecutive days:
GMT+0:
____________________________________________________________
12am 6am 12pm 6pm 12am 6am 12pm 6pm
12am
(1st day)
(2nd day)

for GMT-5 :
____________________________________________________________
12am 8am 2pm 8pm 2am 8am 2pm
12am

It seems to me that if the timezone =/= GMT+0, the labels are never evenly
spaced, and it is then difficult to differentiate mornings / afternoons or
days.

Does this mean that the only way to get good looking time axis is to set the
timezone to GMT+0? (very inconvenient).

Is it possible to change the LV time reference without modifying the time
zone?

Thanks a lot,
Michel.
