topmost window freezes

Hi everyone,

I have a vi that becomes topmost when an event occurs. However, if there is some pop-up windows open, dialog box or other functions called by the top-most vi, and if the event happens while the pop-up window is open, it gets freeze. The whole LabVIEW freezes up.

I use winutil, topmostwindow.vi. Is it a bug or am I missing something?

When creating event case, clicking out the checkbox which is on the buttom of the dialog , "Lock front panel until the event case for this event completes"  may solve your pro.
