transfer function performance anaysis

hi..
i am doing a control subject assignment...
that need to do the performance analysis of the transfer function, design a controller to meet the specific requirement performance by Matlab..
i just wondering is that the task possible be done using labview too??
if yes, how to do it??
i need to study on which tutorial to complete this task by labview??

When dealing with Transfer Function, you can do the same analysis performed by other softwares in LabVIEW using the Control Design and Simulation Module. You need to have LabVIEW 8.5 to use this module. However, previously, this product used to be available as Simulation Module and Control Design Toolkit. This is included with the student version of LabVIEW and is part of the site license.

This module has a very similar capability to analyze the transfer function as other softwares in the market, with the advantage to allow front panel interation and hardware connectivity.
