tree control LV 7.0

There are some llb's of tree functions in vi.lib Tree Traverse.vi for example.
Did these ship with LV? I cannot find any documentation for them and they look really useful. Anybody got any good tree resources. Is it better to use the older TreeView control.

Yours Sincerely

Hello

Currently, those functions are not considered a LabVIEW feature and they are not in the palettes. They only exist to make certain common tree operations easier.

Including them in the palette, though, is a very good product suggestion, as I agree they can be very useful. Please follow this link and go to the Product Feedback section, to submit your suggestion.

Thanks,

Thanks for your answerbutI guess I wasn't clear. Without the documentation I cannot figure out how to use them. Tree Traverse sounds like a good idea. But there is a VI Reference in its connector panel and I don't know what should go here! The request was for someone to tell me how they work!

Do you know where the documentation for these VI's is??
Yours Sincerely
John

That is exactly the point. There is no documentation for these VIs. They are referenced by LabVIEW at some point to make certain common (internal) tree operations easier but they were not intended for customer use. The developer of the Tree control is the only person who knows how they work and that is where we need the product suggestion, so that he can add them to the palettes, with the proper documentation.
