Greetings,
Unfortunately, your 6034E board does not have analog trigger circuitry. This board only has digital triggers. Therefore, you would not be able to hardware trigger your counter pulse through an analog trigger. The work-around is to look at each analog input value that is acquired and if it is above a certain level then you can trigger the 6601. To trigger the 6601 you can set one of your 6034E board's digital IO lines high. You can then use this digital line to trigger your counter application on the 6601. The DIO line on your 6034E will be used as a hardware trigger for your 6601 card.
This is most easily programmed with our LabVIEW development environment. Take a look at some of the examples that ship with LabVIEW by opening the Find Ex
amples browser. Browse by task. For your 6034E board you will go to "Hardware Input and Output -> DAQ -> Analog Input -> General" and for your 6601 you will go to "Hardware Input and Output -> DAQ -> Counters -> NI-TIO" When you are looking at examples, keep in mind that the 6601 has the NI-TIO chip and the 6034E has the DAQ-STC chip.
