trouble with labview 8

Hi all,

You will not find a link to the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office version 1.1.1 anywhere on the web, simply because it is only offered to customers that have previously purchased the version 1.1 of the toolkit. However, all you have to do is pick up the phone and call your local NI sales rep. and they will make sure you get a copy. Nice and easy, but no - not a link!

Yep, I forgot about that.. I have the SSP so I am just going to wait until later in Nov when the CDs show up.

The LabVIEW 8.0 Upgrade Notes has this information about upgrading add-ons:

After you install LabVIEW 8.0, make sure you have a compatible version of any toolkits and add-ons, and reinstall the toolkits and add-ons in the LabVIEW 8.0 directory. You first might need to uninstall the toolkit from previous versions of LabVIEW. Refer to the documentation for the LabVIEW toolkit or add-on for more information about installation.

It then has a list of specific add-ons with upgrade issues, but the Report Generation issue came up after this document was printed so it was added to the readme instead. If you have suggestions for how to improve the Upgrade Notes to cover this situation, please submit a suggestion so we can look at your suggestion in a future revision of the document.

Thanks in advance for your help in improving the upgrade documentation!
