Does anybody have a VI to convert a linear signal to u-Law format and vice versa? TIA.

I have found a formulation on the web for u-law. For other readers that are interested, it also contains a description and justification for u-law and a-law use.

Thanks Jeremy. I had found the top formula but not the simplified one. I also found a look-up table. Now I'll have to see which way is faster to use.
