unable to configure visual source safe

VSS is installed and could be executed indepedently.
While configuring it gives me an error. Document ID 2XPDQLLG suggest to replace a vi, which I did. It allows me to select VSS but disables save option hence it is still not configured.

I think there is a problem with registry keys being written if you install LabVIEW after VSS. Have you tried reinstalling VSS?
