See if this LabVIEW example code suits your need. I haven't tried it.

What is your OS? Certain OS's have an NTP client already built in so you might just want to increase the update frequency!

Personally, I would probably get one of those free utilities that automatically sync the PC clock at regular intervals (e.g. Atomic Time Sync by AnalogX or similar.
