upgrading daqmx 8.3

I am upgrading my daq drivers from 8.1.0f to 8.3.  I have several projects with DAQ 8.1 installed as executables which I will be supporting.  If  I upgrade my development environment to DAQmx 8.3 and distribute executables to the machines with 8.1 still on them will I have a problem? Is the drivers forward compatable from 8.1 to 8.3?

Unless you are using some new 8.3 features or Hardware that is only supported in 8.3 then No...you should be fine distributing the applications to customers who only have 8.1 on their machines.
