My USB-RS232 adapters don't work properly with my new laptop Lenovo T61 using LabView.
The same setup worked fine for years with Lenovo/IBM T30.
The operating system is Win XP, Labview version 7.01.
Adapters are one of Lenovo's own and one TargusPA088.
MAX seems to go ok - the appropriate port can be found and the device there can
be controlled with MAX. But when I try to use the same commands with Labview 7
the device (Agilent 34970A) goes to remote, but will not perform the command -
e.g. *TST?
After I have tried to control the device with Labview-program, there has appeared
an exclamation mark on the port number in MAX.
I have downloaded version 4.01 of MAX, but it didn't make any difference.
