NEVER stack event structures!! Ever!! They block each other.

OK, here's a quick draft incorporating all your desired features.

1. Table control is active so we can scroll.
2. Click positions is correct, even after scrolling
3. Click on the cells are discarded so it acts like disabled indicator as before.
4. Mouse changes to finger when over the table.
