using start stop trigger

I am trying to use the Al Start-Stop D-Trigger.vi modelled from the sample found on the website and keep getting the error message "Error 10082 occured at Al Control" "Possible reasons: NI-DAQ LV: The posttrigger count is invalid."
I am using the same configuration for the channels and trigger, that was running sucessfully with the example for using a start trigger only and taking a given number of scans.
i would be very greatful for any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong, or how i might fix the error.
