vektrex labview driver

My question is regarding Ethernet controlled Vektrex power switch equipment. Currently we use this exe file to control the equipment and it works fine. The file came with the equipment and we do not have the source code. Therefore I cannot view the block diagram. According to the front panel, the device is identified as” tcpip::192.168.0.163::6789::socket”.

Now I want to create my own application by using labview drivers that came with the equipment and have some problems. This driver is called “open.vi” and it does nothing but the visa opening (see attachment). I copied “tcpip::192.168.0.163::6789::socket” to Visa resource field but got visa open error.

Does it have anything to do with the configuration?

Please don't post files with a proprietary format. It's also just silly to paste an image into a file when you can attach the image itself.

Did you add the device in MAX first? Right click on Devices and Interfaces and select Create New>VISA TCP/IP Resource.
