view share clone reentrant

Hello,

When I do a share clone for reentrant with debug option turned on but when I ran the caller VI, I can not see any traces during runtime to this shared clone. How do I do that?  For preallocated clone, it's pretty easy but I'm not sure why am I not seeing anything in shared mode.  I even tried ctrl + m but no avail.  Could someone please tell me if there is a way to view this in debug mode.  Thanks.

You need to open the instance of the VI and not a clone of the instance.  The easiest way I've found is to open the vi from the Heirarchy window and not from the block diagram that contains it.

Hmm.  How do you open the instance of a shared clone VI buried 4 levels down below?  I've tried View->VI Hierachy, Class Hierachy but no avail?
