vision functions are not available after latest labview and vision download

I am a current labview user and i have just downloaded labview 8.5 and the latest vision packages for a trial run. After a seemingly smooth instal of both packages with a reboot inbetween, the labview seems ok but the vision functions pallett is empty.

Hi,

Did you install the Vision Development Module version 8.5?  That is the only version that will work with LabVIEW 8.5.  And when you are installing Vision you need to make sure that you have LabVIEW support selected.  Let me know if that helps.
