web publishing of my labview front panel

hi,

i am using labview version 8.5. i want to publish my front panel in network..through another computer on my networks. using internet explorer...

i configured in tools--options.. in webserver i enabled ,

then i went to tools--webpublishing tools... from there i selected the vi for which i want to publish on my networks... then i saved the html file on webserver root directory...

after when i am going to press the connect button its showing only "requested VI is not loading in a server".

what would be the problem ?..

kindly tell me the step by step procedure....

The machine that is running the VI has to be the webserver.  You can't post an .html to a dedicated webserver because it doesn't have the LabVIEW runtime engine and isn't the one running the VI.

Unless I am misunderstanding your post, in which case please give a little more detail.

You can view remote front panels either through LabVIEW or through a web browser. If you are using a web browser, ensure that the computer that you are trying to view the remote panels on have LabVIEW Run-time installed. In  LabVIEW Help,  there is a section called " Viewing an Application or  Front Panel Remotely using LabVIEW" for using LabVIEW. his section has information on how to set up the host and client computer.

If you are using browser, the steps to set this up are at " Viewing an Application or Front Panel Remotely Using a Browser". This section has information on how to set up the host and client computer. You might also find the section called " Controlling an application or front panel remotely in LabVIEW
