where is "Analog 1D DBL NChan 1Samp"

I have an old vi written in June 2006
When I open that vi using Labview 8.6 it cannot find "Analog 1D DBL NChan 1Samp.vi"

Since I wrote that vi:
- I've upgraded Labview to version 8.6
- I archived that vi
- The original computer hard drive failed
- Since the computer was old and we had a newer computer available
I installed Labview 8.6 on the newer computer
- I restored the vi from the archive (today)

My hardware is:
- PCI-6220
- SCXI-1001
- SCXI-1520
- SCXI-1314

To solve this problem am I going to have to:
1. Uninstall Labview 8.6
2. Install all the earlier versions of Labview I have through Labview 8,6
??

Is there another way to get "Analog 1D DBL NChan 1Samp.vi" and anything else it uses back onto my
computer?

No where do you mention installing the DAQmx driver.

I assume the DAQmx driver got installed along with everything else since I can create a "NI-DAQmx Task" using the "Measurement & Automation Explorer" application.

No, you have to specifically install the driver after LabVIEW. If you had an older version or installed in the wrong order, you would not have LabVIEW support.

How come I can create a "NI-DAQmx Task"?

How do I "specifically install" DAQmx? I can't find it in the installer menus?

Am I going to have to uninstall all the NI products and then start over?

Relax, you should not need to uninstall anything.  Insert your NI Device Drivers DVD and install LabVIEW support for DAQmx for your version of LabVIEW.

I've:

1. downloaded the version 8.6.1 of DAQmx

2. Installed it

3. Restarted my computer

Still can't find:

1. DAQmx Read (Analog 1D DBL NChan 1Samp).vi

2. DAQmx Read.vi

I've attached images of the captured windows showing:

1. the "Start Installation" window during the install

2. Loading/Searching dialog windows

3. Diagram of the vi showing a "?" for the icon for the "Analog 1D DBL NChan 1Samp" vi

I guess I'm going to have to reinstall.

I'm going to try this:

1. start with a Windows XP computer that doesn't have LabView Installed

2. install the PCI-6220 card

3. connect the SCXI-1001 containing the SCXI-1520 & SCXI-1314

4. install Labview

Should I do anything differently?

Yes - you should not worry about installing DAQmx version 8.6.1, and should instead install LabVIEW support from whatever version of DAQmx you do have installed.

How do I determine "whatever version of DAQmx" I have installed?

And where is the installer?

Open Measurement and Automation Explorer and expand My System -> Software to see what version of DAQmx is installed (look for NI-DAQmx Device Driver).  You can install either from the appropriate DVD (the NI Device Drivers disc) or download the installer.  The card that comes with each set of discs tells you what versions of software is on them.
