which VISA driver version support for LV 7.1?

could you tell me please, on which VISA dirver version support for Labview 7.1? at the moment  i have ni Visa 4.2 and ni serial 3.3... i have lv 8.5 there its working fine.. but when i using with lv 7.1 i get error   "VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF0072) The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it."

NI-VISA 4.2 works with LabVIEW 7.1. There error indicates that you are using the port with another program (i.e. Hyperterminal). If you have LabVIEW 8.5 open and using the port, close that and the error should go away.
