hi ,can any one  tell me which is best for image processing labview or matlab. if matlab best then why? or if labview is best then why?

Well, first you will have to define what you mean by "processing". It also depends what you are familiar with. If you're an expert in one and have only written "hello world" in the other, you'll probably write better code using the one you are an expert in.

Which environment do you know better? That is generally more important than a specific type of function which might or might not be available in one of the packages.

As you have found out you can do it in both. So if you know LabVIEW well but have little experience in Matlab you will definitely want to go with LabVIEW and vice versa.

I know Labview better as compare matlab.i have also basic concept about matlab.

Then, you should use LabVIEW, because that will help you to more focus on Image processing than Syntactical errors and very Lower level design.
