I doubt this is the problem, but be sure to reboot before usi
ng a driver
that you just installed. The installer prompts for a reboot, and that
is for good reason.
If it still reboots, I'd try to use the repair capability for whatever
drivers the VI uses. Technically, since LV is an application and NT,
2000, XP are protected OSes, LV cannot crash the machine or reboot it.
LV can crash, but it takes a driver or OS bug to bring down the machine.
