why does my slider indicator slow down/ become jerky if i have more than 0ne Vi open

My slider incicator appears to judder and become slow when filling if one or more VIs are open. Why is this.

Can you post more information? What version of LabVIEW are you using? Is the VI running? Are the other VIs running? If they are running, do any of then take a lot of processor time? LabVIEW only has one user interface thread, so if other VIs are in memory, then those VIs also take UI thread time to update, especially in development.

If you have an example, then post that as well.
