i put one tab control, get it all sized properly. i try to put another tab control on one of the first tab control's pages, and the first tab control gets *really* big and won't let itself be resized. can i get around this?

Right click on the tab that is growing.
Under Advanced, there is a "auto Grow" option that is enabled by default.
