You must register an automation server on each machine, this is done by one of three ways:

1. During the setup by the setup program

2. Registering by using the command line command regsvr32

3. Selfregistering by starting the automation server once

Be aware you must have administration rights for registering an automation server.

The esiest way is the last one. Navigate to the folder here the automation server is installed. It is an application like Myserver.exe. Start this application by double clicking.in the Windows Explorer. Automation servers created by LabVIEW will register itself and I hope that CVI will do the same. If you will not see the automation server this maybe a different CVI behaviour. In this case it would be a good advice to post this question in the CVI board.

So, should I install CVI? Actually I do not install CVI individually.  I thought the CVI has been installed when I am installing TestStand, is that right?
