windows cannot find vi, but it opens

Glad to hear that it wasn't my imagination. I've seen this, off and on, on multiple machines, and as was said, just grumbled and continued working. Having lived through LV 2.5's very frequent "insane errors" (aptly named as they drive you insane) this particular "undocumented feature" was only mildly annoying, as is the WindowsXP, "can't find xxxxx.vi" message that if find so often as I am closing the vi named. Thanks for the detective work! I am sending more and more customers and associates to this list, telling them that if it can be found this is the group that will find it!
