Hello
So far i have been working on a project where i had to use ultrasonic sensors to detect vehicles in a parking area and the connection between the sensors and the Compactrio was with wires. Now i would like to get a wireless connection between the sensors and the controller and i am thinking about Zigbee modules. Because I am a bit new with Labview could anyone tell me the approach to interface the wireless modules on the project?
The controller used is cRIO-9024 with cRIO-9118 chassis and NI-9403 c series module. The ultrasonic ranger is srf05.
The following attachment contains the vi i used for the distance measuremet.

You can use Zigbee xbee modules on the both side to transmit/receive data and show in LabVIEW application.
Basically these zigbee modules works in serial communication, its easy to interface.

Hello Puneet
Thank you for your reply. So will i have to change my VI to interface the zigbee modules?

First you have to work on hardware interfacing part of zigbee module with sensor & cRIO, then work on LabVIEW coding.
You can find some application notes http://www.digi.com/support & search for Xbee modules.

Im using same concept for my project i have problem with it. My project is fire alarm system i have wireless smoke sensors and base unit. The base unit has xbee RF series2, LCD touch, and buzzer. I tried to simulate this project on matlab and Multisim, but it didnt not work and i dont know how to use labview. May you please help? I need this simulation as soon as possible. Thanks
