Did you mean:

write to file adds spaces to lines??? help pls.

Hi,
I've attached a simple little VI to write some text/etc. to a file saved as "C:\test.txt".  I'm having trouble understanding the output shown below:

2:05:51.608 PM 10/27/2006
where does this go?
test1
 343.090000 test2
 TRUE

specifically - I want to know why lines  4 and 5 are indented one space??/

any explanation is appreciated.

thx
-Z

Right-click on your "write" node and select "edit format string". Now remove any spaces you don't like and OK it. 🙂

(You see that by default, format codes are seperated by spaces).
