hi again,

i tried that new updated program, but it only deals with one variable coming into the loop. i want to do all the values coming out of the power node, which will be different./? this is the problem im stuck with i have alot of help on the forum here, but everytime i end up with the same problem it seems.....

any help?

your program is almost what i want, but i need to keep it running indefinately and keep churning out different numbers and printing them out, one after another, if you understand!

do i need to implement a shift register in your code for this?

sorry about all these messages!

i think your design might work, i used to random numbers outside the loop, these didnt change with time, hence just getting one value. sent to the output. i cant use my test equipment until tomorrow, so i hope it will work , it should do.

just tried your program at last. seems to be working....!

but two questions, the loop runs for 'n' times? i want it to run for as long as i stop the vi, how do i do this? also the output im getting from the excel is not the correct format, i want just time in one column and mean power in the other.......

how can i chabge the arrays for this?

Eric,

You seem to be trying to develop the same piece of code by posting on 3 different forum threads.

This means you have various suggestions on various stages and parts of the same piece of code posted across the three different  threads which is not a very effective.
