If you have a program called MyApplication.exe, you will also have an .ini file called MyApplication.ini installed next to it. It usually doesn't have much in it, but perhaps somethings that are also in your LabVIEW.ini file which are settings for your LabVIEW development environment.
Some things that you could put in MyApplication.ini would be settings that define default fonts for your .exe. So you could say DialogFont = "Arial 10". That way a font is defined rather than allowing the runtime environment determine what you want a Dialog Font to be.
There might also be settings in there for a webserver application, or VI server.
It's not something I've messed with much, so I don't know what kinds of things might regularly be added there. Search the forums for "Application.ini" to see other threads that might list other options.
What kind of purpose are you planning to use this .INI for?

Thank you very much,
because i was thought that to set the font for my application. normally it takes a default system font. i am creating my application on XP - operating system, when i installing on VISTA or Windows 7 the font looks different also it changes the size, it some what difficult to distribute my application for different OS environment. thats why i asked about the .ini file and i thought there should be settings could be available for these kind of issues.
