Did you mean:

ActiveX Library.

Dear sirs,
can you tell me how is called the .lib file for the ActiveX library and where I can find it? I can't find it, and so I can't compile the excel200.c file (missing prototype of the functions in it)...
Thanks,
G.M.

excel200.c file and all excel2000.fp instrument are related to the corresponding include and object files located in the same directory of the source file. If you go to the instrument menu and select Edit options, next Show info for Microsoft Excel 9.0 Object Library you'll see the dependencies of this instrument: be sure that the related files are present in the system and located where the instrument points to.

Are there problems if I use Excel 2003 (Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library  and not 9.0)?! I had only this on my computer... The files you said are where the compiler points...

Unfortunately I cannot help you since in my computer is installed Office2000.

Hope that someone else can answer your question.

There should be no problem using Office 2003 with CVI.

If you have a chance, run any example app that's found in this folder

..\National Instruments\CVI71\samples\activex\excels
