Hi smoken,

Looks like there aren't any instrument drivers available on our website for Sencore.  I googled 997A and didn't come up with anything either.  Are you talking about the ATSC997 from Sencore?  I found some information about that product from their website, but nothing on using it in CVI or LabVIEW.

Does the instrument communicate through Serial or GPIB?  If it uses either, you could use NI-VISA to establish some communication.

Hope this helps!

thanks for the reply adam, it is ATSC997 indeed, sorry for the confusion, the generator needs to be controlled via TCP API. and should be controlled in via Labview or labwindows.

Hi smoken,

Yeah I couldn't find any pre-built drivers for that instrument.  As for the commands used to control it, you'll probably need to reference a user manual or Sencore directly.  Once you get those you could use the TCP VIs in LabVIEW for TCP communication.

Hope this helps!
