Arrows missing on Ring controls!

Using MS 6.0 (CVI) I made a minor change to a panel, then ALL of my several Lab-style recessed Menu Ring controls lost thier button arrow! It's not just a color change since I can't select anything near where the arrow was to change the color! It's simply not there.

I can change the control, then back again, but colors & other attributes must be re-set on ALL of them.

What's up with this?????

We haven't seen this before in the 6.0 release. We saw something similar to this in beta with the UI converter that would update your User Interface to Lab-style controls. I'm really not sure what could have caused it. What do you mean when you say you can change the controls, then back again? You may be able to solve this by outputting your UIR to text and making some edits and reloading, but I have to know what you are doing to fix the problem.

Also, do you have a backup of the UIR that is OK. If so, what could be causing this is the Auto-scaling setting of the panel. Load your backup and turn off panel scaling before editing a control.

By changing control, then back, I mean that I use Edit->Change Control...(F11) and select another Ring type control from the Convert Control Style box. Then I change it back to the orginal style, and correct the colors, etc.

The latest change that caused the problem was a simple range change on an unrelated numeric control and saved. The problem appeared next time the panel was openned.

Saving the uir to a tui, then creating a new panel by loading the tui restores the arrows. Here are two key entries for this control:
ATTR_CTRL_STYLE = CTRL_RECESSED_MENU_RING
ATTR_MENU_ARROW_COLOR = VAL_BLACK

After saving the panel (with or w/o various scaling options set, the Ring arrows are VERY small when the panel is openned/loaded. They looked normal when first created from the tui.

Well, you are definately seeing some strange things. It may be best at this point to send the UIR to our support engineers and see if they can reproduce it. If they can, our CVI developers can look at it and find the cause. You can contact them by phone or e-mail at http://www.ni.com/ask.

We are also seeing the same things. When you create the ring control in 6.0 they look fine but they aren't there when the app is deployed.

We face the same problem. The ring appear fine in the panel editor, when we load the panel in our application, the ring's arrow look very small.
