I understand that Microsoft Vista will no longer include WinHlp32.exe, and therefore any .HLP help files will not run, unless WinHlp32.exe is downloaded from Microsoft. They are encouraging developers to migrate to .CHM, .HTML or .XML. See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607I currently use CVI7.1 to develop PXI drivers, and it allows me to generate my driver help files in .HLP format only. Is there any plan for CVI to be able to support generation of driver help files in .CHM format? I have not yet looked at CVI8.x to see whether this does so.
