Authenicated smtp and the LabWindows Internet Toolkit

The CVI Internet Toolkit does not support authenticated smtp, so I am writing my own utility using TCP command. My only problem is that I do not know where to find a specification for authenticated smtp.

Can someone point me in the direction (or email me at support@AmbientWeather.com) with a specification for the command and response commands for authenticated smtp?
