Due to a new computer I have to newly install LabWindows/CVI2015 SP1 on Windows 10 Pro (Version 20H2, OS build 19042.662).
After entering products serial number and me as user, the installation starts and stops immediately with the error popup-window:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: <DVD-path>\Distributions\CVI\setup.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in
an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.
With <DVD-path> the location of the copied DVD-contents (my new Computer doesn't have a DVD drive any more).
Officially the software supports Windows 10.
Has anybody an idea what's causing the error or what I might check?
