I have no idea what an "NIPM" is.
But, the other day, I removed our application, then I removed the NI components, so I could do a "full" reinstall of our app (where it puts on the NI components). That worked fine, I thought.
Then, I realized my LabWindows was also removed (of course, I removed "all" NI stuff), so I just went through installing the .zip, and the f1 patch .zip. Then it did it's Update thing for some LabVIEW 2017 runtime, and the License Manager. The update must have come from one of those.
I also see the LabWindows runtime updated to the 2020 version (I've noticed that in the past, as well) so I guess that also happens.
