CVI 5.0.1 Menu Appearance Changes in EXE

I am running CVI 5.0.1, with the new RT engine (7+).  There is a distinct change in the appearance of the menus and controls when either running the standalone EXE or running out of the CVI UI (Run Project).

When using Run Project, all the menus and controls appear as they do in the UIR files.  When running the EXE, the the menus appear "squeezed" together, and controls all change their appearance.   They look nothing like the originals.

If desired, I can send screenshots of the two behaviours.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi David,

It would be helpful if you posted the screenshots that you discussed.  Also, would it be possible to post the files so we can try to replicate this behavior here on our end?  Ideally we would like to have as much of the code stripped away as possible, but have the behavior still shown.  Lastly, what is the exact version of the run-time engine that you have?
