CVI 5.5 very slow

I use cvi 5.5! When i want to compile my project
it takes a very long time(up to 2 minutes)! I use a AMD K6 450MHz 128 MB
RAM
so I think the PC is not the Problem!
Does anyone know some settings to increase Compile-Time!
Or is it a generally Problem!
Thanks for your help!

Chris
Have a look at the main menu "Options"->"build options". The last point in
the dialog is named "Display status dialog during build".
Be sure to uncheck this options. It will increase compile time dramaticly.

Thanks for your help!
But this option is unchecked!!! The debug -exe file is about 18MB!The release
- exe only about 2MB! So i think to generate the 18MB exe file each time
needs much time!(2,30min)
Testing a project is very hard because i need to start and stop the project
often!

Has anyone the same experience with big debug files?

Thanks a lot chris
