The MSI installer is detecting that there needs to be a repair done on the install. This can occur because of critical files or registry information not being present among other things. Since this can be caused by many things, the easiest solution is usually to remove and reinstall CVI. For a higher probability of success, you can just remove all of the MSI install entries for Measurement Studio. There is a utility Microsoft provides called MSI Cleanup that can remove all the MSI install information for an application. You can find that utility at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q238413. I would use that utility to remove the MSI entries for Measurement Studio 6.0 and then reinstall. You don't have to delete the CVI files, the
y will be overwritten.
