CVI 6.0 Ring oddity

We shortly upgraded to CVI 6.0 and found that projects created with 5.5 show an oddity: All arrows of the ring controls are gone. Even if we create new ones the arrows is about three pixels in size. Once the program is running the arrows have disappeared again. All this occurred under Win2k but not under Win98?! Opening the UIR in CVI 5.5 again shows that all rings are still spoiled.

Thank you for your help

I tried to recreate this problem, create a project in CVI 5.5 with ring controls and open it with CVI 6.0, though it works ok. Do you have a small project that displays this problem that you can post?

I can confirm this behavior in two seperate programs. I converted from CVI 5.51 to 6.0 on a Win2k machine, and have the exact same behavior

I am also seeing this behaviour on a converted program from CVI5.5 to 6.0. Again this is running under Windows 2000.

We have the same problem of ring's arrow size under Windows NT.

It happens to me with CVI 6.0 in Win2K as well

We have seen this problem.

We found that if you save the uir in text format, create a new (empty) uir file and load the text into it, then the arrows come back. But as soon as you edit the panels then the arrows disappear again!

Alternatively, convert to the new lab-style controls which work ok.
