CVI & Solaris

Does anyone know what the current version of CVI for Solaris is? And which versions of Solaris is it
compatible with?
Also does CVI for Sun come with a compiler or will it work with the Sun cc(Sun workshop) or GCC?
Does it need any particular window manager, openlook, cde/motif or gnome

Any Info

Much Appreciated

5.0.1 was the last released version of CVI for Solaris. There have been post release updates to the run time engine and the environment.
CVI is known to be compatible with Solaris 2.4 through 2.8.
CVI for Solaris includes the full development environment (ie. compiler, debugger, UI editor, ...)
CVI windows on X windows are not window manager aware, so there should be no window manager dependancy. I know that Openlook and CDE/motif have been used successfully.
