CVI runtime update not recognized in MAX

Hallo,

I'm running CVI 6.0 on a XP machine, my currently installed CVI runtime is 8.1.0.271 (according to MAX 2.2)

Now I wanted to update the runtime from 8.1.0.271 to the most uptodate 8.5.1. I did the installation without any trouble or messages, but verification of the version afterwards in MAX still shows up version 8.1.0.271.

Is this a bug or a feature or due to some circumstances on my machine?

Please help me, I need to update 8 vital machines in our production plant, and I don't want to go the risk of spoiling something.

So what's going on here?

 Hi Oliver,

It sounds like our internal database that MAX uses wasn't updated for the 8.5.1 RTE release.  When I get into the office on Monday, I'll double-check that database and if its not updated, I'll fix it.  For now, you can download the 8.5.1 RTE here.
