CVI timer not running when the app is minimized

I have a timer in my application developed by LabWindows/CVI. The timer is working fine except it's minimized or not the active window. Could somebody tell me how to solve the problem? Thanks.

I havnt been able to reproduce this problem on my machine though. Do you have an example of this you could attach here?
