CVI v55 & Mixed DLLs on NT

I just installed CVI v5.5 as an upgrade to v4.01 on a Win NT platform. Ever
since I have been plagued by error messages about 2 DLL files when running
CVI. The error states "This application uses CTL3D32.DLL which is not the
correct version. This version is designed for Win32s or Windows 95 Systems".
A second one stating the same for CDBAS13.DLL also occurs.

I found a copy of an NT version of CTL3D32.DLL and restored it. I can't find
an NT version of CDBAS13.DLL.

I completely reinstalled NT (even wiping out the registry). Re-installed CVI
v55 and SQL kit v2.05. Same thing happens all over again. Something in the
NI install for NT is incorrectly copying Win95 DLLs onto the NT system.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hy there,
I got similar problems:
Working on a WinNT 4, Servicepack 6 Workstation, CVI 5.5.

I tried to install the SQL Kit 2.0, but got the error message S32EVNT.dll and SYMEVNT.386 do not match.

When I try to use any database functions, I get the message: The application or dll c:\winnt\sys32\cdbas13.dll is not a valid WinNT image. Please check this against your installation disk.
The file is dated 4/14/98, which doesn't correspond to any other file installed with the tool kit...

I tried to reinstall it, but with the same result.

I am able to connect to database (Sample Project connect.prj) but that's about it. I can't create new entries nor query a database.
Did you find an error or a aork around?

Cheers
Harald
