Can a code with LabWindows/Dos be compiled with LabWindows/CVI?

We have a C++ code which was programmed with LabWindows/Dos. As LabWindows/Dos is not avaiable anymore, we are thinking to buy LabWindows/CVI. Can the code with LabWindows/Dos be easily compiled with LabWindows/CVI?

Yes it's possible. You might need to use LabWindows for DOS to get your files into the proper form for conversion. Once you have done that, the conversion tools necessary for translating LabWindows for DOS applications into LabWindows/CVI applications are integral to LabWindows/CVI.
LabWindows/CVI has the following conversion tools.
The C source code translator converts LabWindows for DOS C source files so you can
use them in LabWindows/CVI.
The User Interface Resource (.uir) file translator converts LabWindows for DOS .uir
files so you can use them in LabWindows/CVI.
The function panel (.fp) file translator converts LabWindows for DOS .fp files so you
can use them in LabWindows/CVI.

For more information about it, you can go to Chapter 12 of the CVI Use
r's Manual (Converting LabWindows for DOS Applications).

You probably mean you have C code, since C++ code was never supported in LabWindows/DOS. LabWindows/DOS only supported C and BASIC code. If you have C code for LabWindows/DOS and can easily be converted into any version of LabWindows/CVI by going to the Source Editor Window and selecting Options->Translate DOS LW Program... There is a detailed chapter on this in the Getting Started with LabWindows CVI Manual here: http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/web_productcurrent/B037D99C5CAFE1398625682C0071E4C3?OpenDocument.
