Can not find the USB port .

There 2 USB ports in my PC , my OS is windows 2000. Now I want to program a application with CVI 7 ,which can read data saved in the U-disk ,the method is using VISA , but whatever I can not locate the USB port ,when using the MAX to find them , it just can locate the COM and parellel port ,how to resolve the problem ? Thanks.

One thing worth noting is that NI-VISA can't access your normal USB devices that already have Windows drivers. NI-VISA is either the sole driver for a given device, or it can't access it at all. So you can't use it to find or access or send commands to random devices.
