Hello together,
i have the following problem: There are 2 PCs, 1 PC (A) is connected to a PLC and running the SimaticNET OPC server. My application is on the second PC (B). (A) and (B) are connected via normal Ethernet. Now i want to read data from the OPC server on PC (B) with datasocket. But my problem is that i am not able to find the OPC server when browsing the network via SelectURL. I am also not able to connect directly to the OPC server by manually entering the host,servername and item. As you surely guess i am not very familiar with OPC servers, just basic knowledge.
So has someone any idea what i am doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.
