DBActivateMap in SQL Toolkit doesn't work with new Access driver

DBActivateMap generates an error, "Too few parameters. Expected 1." I didn't have a problem until Access 2003 was installed (over Access 97). Is there an update for the SQL Toolkit?
I tried Microsoft's fix - editing the Registry and redirecting the driver to a copy of the old driver, but this caused a General Protection fault. Thanks.

Hi Gris,

The latest version for the SQL Toolkit is v2.0.6. I have this installed on my machine and have not encountered any problems when running any of the sample applications with Access 2003. I would suggest trying some of these sample applications and just change the dsn for these applications to point to an empty database you create in Access 2003. Also, it may be possible that trying the Microsoft fix may have corrupted some other parts of the SQL Toolkit. I would try reinstalling CVI and the SQL toolkit as well to get a fresh version available. If you still encounter problems, can you provide some more information about your application and how the DBActivateMap call is being used? Hope this helps!

Thanks. I got around the problem by using an immediate SQL statement. However, I would like to know how to upgrade to v2.0.6 of the SQL Toolkit. (I'm using CVI). Thanks.

I can definitely set you up with an upgrade to that SQL toolkit. Just go over to ni.com/support, and under option 2 (Request Support) click on Email NI. Fill out the information about your system and then in your question just mention that you would like to be contacted about the upgrade for the CVI SQL Toolkit. After that you'll be contacted by one of our representatives who can set you up!
