Dead in the water, HELP!?

Greetings,

I've been using LabWindows/CVI 8 (8.0.1) for several months now without issue.  Last week, around Thursday, my IT department issued several Microsoft updates to my machine and since then my LabWindows will not work correctly in Debug mode.  It will compile and run a debug.exe, but everytime I set a break point, my entire system locks up.  I cannot even bring up task manager!  The only way I can exit the system is with a power shutdown, a hard shutdown (press & hold power until it shuts off).  I have tried creating a new project and workspace then creating a new file, thinking that perhaps the projects (I've tried several, including the samples) were corrupt, but to no avail.  My IT department has no idea what to do to help me & I'm currently unable to perform my job.  Can anybody out there help?

LabWindows has been re installed hoping that would fix, but nothing changed....

Thanks in advance,

Rob

You can perhaps let us know what updates were made around thursday. (http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate + Review your update history)

Nicolas,

I will try, but our IT stages them on the server, then distributes them out.  I will let you know if/what I find out...

edit:  I cannot view the update history on the web site, it sees I'm not an admin & will not let me do anything 😞
